You don't need motivation...you need...

Sometimes the breakthrough we’re praying for isn't about doing more. Sometimes we need to let a few things go.
I've learned this in my own life. I can pray, read another book, listen to another inspiring message, and still find myself carrying things that are wearing me out.
Too many obligations. Old hurts. Worry. Other people's expectations. And sometimes my own habits and thinking are getting in the way.
There comes a time when you have to be honest with yourself. What's taking up too much space in my life? What am I still holding on to that I need to deal with?
And believe me, everything doesn't have to become a big project. Sometimes you just need to clean house, emotionally and spiritually. You may be surprised at how much lighter you feel.
Here's something to try this week. Choose one thing you've been meaning to address. Maybe it's a habit, some clutter, an unnecessary commitment, or a conversation you've been avoiding. Start there. One thing. One decision. One step.
I've also learned that everything doesn't need to be thrown away. Some things need healing. Some relationships need better boundaries. Some responsibilities need to be

shared. And some things have simply run their course.
We have to stop filling our plates with everybody else's needs and then wondering why we're so tired, frustrated, and have so little time for ourselves.
You deserve some room to breathe, enjoy your life, take care of your health, and appreciate the blessings already around you.
So take an honest look at what's on your plate. You don't have to change everything this week. But you can start making some room.
Pray about it. Be honest with yourself. Make a decision. Then pray with your feet!
Stay in the light.

Your financial gifts, whether small or large, help me continue creating and sharing messages of hope, encouragement, and practical wisdom. If giving isn't possible right now, your support still matters. Reading, commenting, and sharing my blog with someone who may need a little encouragement means so much.
