2. Remember this...Download into your soul....

"Life can be brutal and beautiful = brutiful.

Life is magic, tragic, wonderful, and scary. Life is in constant change. May you grow wings of faith to rise above the pain and drama. There is a place within your soul that nothing and no one can disturb. Go there! Go within. I pray you find the peace that surpasses all understanding. It’s the calm that comes when everyone around would expect you to fall apart because of your circumstances. It’s the kind of peace that comes when you realize you cannot control others. It’s the kind of peace in the midst of turmoil that allows you to surrender all to God because you realize you cannot do it all.

May you have sweet rest. May you trust God enough to remember that… “this, too, shall pass.”

May you feel the presence of heavenly hosts around you lifting the weight of stress, grief, darkness, guilt, shame, and fear.

May you recall all the times the Lord has brought you “through” and not focus on the things He didn’t do.

May you call on the strength and faith of your ancestors to help you hold your head up so you can press, persevere and have hope.

Remember that prayer changes things. There is power in your words. Speak up and speak over your situation.

May God’s tenderness, love and mercy cover you like a blanket. May you begin to trust God and trust yourself enough to know that you will be guided and provided for always.

Your past defeats, disappointments, falls from grace or even the Trickster can make you think you are alone. Lies! The truth is God loves you. Your Father God loves you so much and knew you would have crosses to bear. Maybe that is why His word says, “Be not afraid” nearly 100 times in the Bible. One reminder can be found in John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled, trust in the Lord.”

Your life is NOT like a television program. TV and fantasy can trick you into thinking that everything in life can be solved quickly. During difficult times you may have to live with unanswered questions. You may not be able to rescue and save your loved ones from pain. You may not be able to save yourself from problems that have escalated and snowballed because of inaction, denial, ignorance of fear. Rain falls on everyone’s roof and maybe this is your season for unwanted rain. You may feel God has forsaken you. You may feel sick, afraid, angry, confused, overwhelmed and doubtful. Faith requires patience. Take a deep breath. Now take another one. And yet another deep breath.

Can you take your hands and expectations off the people or circumstances that are causing you anxiety and fear? I pray you find the courage to let go and let God. Be still. Be quiet. Let your heart heal in the awkward silence. There you will find the still small voice of God whispering…”Be still and know that I AM God.”

May the voice of the Comforter steady your heart and mind so that you think clearly to know what to do next.

When you are on your own road to Damascus like Saul in the Bible, you may lose your sight to see your way out. And just like Saul, the temporary loss of sight could be God’s way to humble and show you He is greater. Faith is trusting what you cannot see. It’s a journey you take without the comfort of a map. God’s word will be the lamp for your feet (Psalm 119:105). You may not see who, what, when or how your difficult situation will turn around. Your faith allows you to take one step at a time through the fog of fear. Your fog will soon clear away. You will soon have a breakthrough. You will soon have a testimony.

Life can be brutal and beautiful = brutiful. No God… no peace.

KNOW God… KNOW peace.
