"We celebrate and remember Easter because it tells the story of Christ's life, persecution, death, and glorious resurrection. There is a deep spiritual message for us all to remember to strengthen our daily walk of faith.
Could there be perhaps another inner message on a personal level for us during our existence on earth?
You may lose your pride, you may lose your job, you may lose some money, you may lose a loved one.....just don't lose your mind, lose your faith or lose your Spirit to your temporary circumstances. Depression, fear, sorrow and stress can bury you in a grave of darkness. After death…is life. Spring does come after a long winter. Roll away that stone with faith and action and come into the LIGHT....RISE AGAIN! On this day of resurrection, choose to rise to new heights.
Whenever you feel overlooked on the job, rejected and hurt in a relationship, your body in tremendous pain, your heart in grief from losing a loved one, folks talking about you, feeling misunderstoond/betrayed or under tremendous financial burden...you feel like you're going to die, you feel persecuted. The question is "will you rise again?"
If you can roll away the STONE that buried you, you can rise again. That stone represents fear, darkness, doubt, despair, hopelessness, and surrender. It may take you longer than 3 days to rise again from your setback, but the powerful message of Christ's resurrection is meant to empower us to realize that no weapon, no man, no woman or no word can kill our Spirit. After you overcome your pain and get up again no one will recognize you because you will have changed for the better. You will act different and speak different. You will be a new person with a new beginning. You will have cast out all the negative feelings, thoughts, and energy. (read Mark 16:12-20).
