Over the years I've had to learn to upgrade my worthiness, change my perspective about what abundance feels and looks like for me, overcome a sense of lack and fear, and stop resisting an abundant life by learning to receive compliments, help, new knowledge, money, and stop blocking my stream of income because of negative self-talk. Here are 7 key strategies that are helping me to shift my perspective and behavior:

1.Change Your Money Mindset

• Identify Limiting Beliefs: Many people resist financial abundance because of deep-seated beliefs like "money is bad," "I don’t deserve wealth," or "rich people are greedy." Begin by identifying any limiting beliefs you might hold around money.

• Reframe Negative Beliefs: Replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones. For example, instead of thinking ..."Money is evil." “Money is hard to come by,” reframe it as “Money flows easily to me when I add value.” :"My money is circulating vs. I'm broke."

• Practice Gratitude for What You Have: Focusing on scarcity or lack can create resistance. Instead, appreciate what you already have, which shifts your energy toward abundance.

• Affirm Abundance: Use positive affirmations related to wealth. Repeat phrases like “I am open to receiving unlimited abundance” or “I am worthy of financial prosperity.”

2. Address Emotional Blocks

• Heal Past Money Trauma: Emotional baggage from financial struggles or poor decisions can create resistance to abundance. Work on healing past money wounds through journaling, therapy, or talking to a trusted person.

• Release Fear of Judgment: Some resist wealth due to fear of being judged by others. Understand that financial abundance can be used for good, and let go of the need for approval.

• Overcome the Fear of Success: Many people unconsciously resist success because they fear the responsibility or attention that comes with it. Acknowledge and address these fears.

3. Heal from Scarcity Mentality

Break generational cycles of poverty, stress, and fear.

Just because your childhood and family history were full of lack, stress, chaos, and struggle you don't have to live by default and repeat their cycle. You can break the cycle by designing a life of abundance with new knowledge, feeling worthy and capable with new thoughts and new habits. You can choose to live by default or design.

• Let Go of Fear of Lack: Scarcity mentality keeps you focused on what you don't have, causing resistance. Shift your focus to possibilities and opportunities rather than limitations.

• Practice Generosity: Giving to others (whether through time, money, or energy) fosters a sense of abundance. It helps you realize that there is always enough to share.

• Trust in the Flow of Life: Believe that abundance is available to you, and trust that opportunities for financial prosperity will come when you’re open to receiving them.

4.Align with Your Purpose

• Follow Your Passion: Financial abundance often follows when you are aligned with your purpose and passion. When you are doing what you love, you naturally attract opportunities and resources. I enjoyed a book years ago, "Do What You Love and the Money Will Follow."

• Serve Others: Focus on how you can add value to others' lives. Money often follows when your efforts, business, and resources solve problems or needs for people.

5. Cultivate a Wealth-Oriented Mindset

• Visualize Abundance: Regularly imagine yourself living in financial prosperity. See, feel, and believe that it is possible for you.

• Adopt a Growth Mindset: Be open to learning, improving, and seeking new ways to create wealth. Embrace challenges and view setbacks as opportunities for growth to leave a family tree of wealth and legacy.

• Surround Yourself with Abundance: Engage with people who have a healthy relationship with money. Their mindset and behaviors can influence your own.

6. Develop Practical Financial Habits

• Create Clear Financial Goals: Set specific, measurable financial goals that align with your vision of abundance. This helps you focus on creating wealth rather than resisting it.

• Invest in Financial Education: Learn about money management, investing, and other wealth-building strategies. Knowledge helps eliminate the fear of the unknown.

• Manage Your Finances Wisely: Develop a budget, track expenses, and save regularly. Taking control of your finances fosters a sense of empowerment.

• Seek Opportunities: Stay open to opportunities that align with your skills, passions, and talents. These could be new jobs, investments, or business ventures.

7.Take Advantage of Digital Learning

Listen to affirmations, podcasts, videos, or any resource on-line to build an abundant lifestyle.
