Today at 10 am on zoom, I want to speak to the woman who’s still holding pieces of a story that never resolved. You were taught that every problem should be solved, every loss should teach you something, and every season of pain should end with a bow. But real life doesn’t always wrap itself up. Today, I’m not here to rush your healing.
Because Western narratives insist on closure and happy endings, we are culturally underprepared to deal with life’s unfinishedness. We rush grief, avoid disappointment, and treat uncertainty as failure. We have mistaken emotional resolution for emotional maturity when in fact, real maturity means learning to live in the in-between, the unanswered, the unfixable.
I’m here to remind you that you are still whole, even when the ending hasn’t come yet.
This isn’t self-care—it’s soul-care at its finest.
