Updated: Aug 13

Jewel Diamond Taylor, also known as The Self Esteem Dr., is a personal development speaker, life coach, trauma-informed talk counselor, workshop facilitator, and a seasoned practitioner for emotional wellness whose work sits at the intersection of education, community outreach, faith, culture, healing, and women's empowHERment, and author. Taylor kicked the glass ceiling as a woman of color speaking at national and international conferences, sharing the stage with A-list speakers and celebrities like Dr. Maya Angelo, Coretta Scott King, Shirley Caesar, Phylicia Rashad, Debbie Allen, Alice Walker, Iyanla Vanzant, and other amazing changemakers since1986.

Jewel helps women recalibrate their lives after disappointment, loss, caregiving, burnout, retirement, and life's unexpected changes. She is the creator of The GPS Success Method™, a practical approach that blends emotional wellness, self awareness, faith, and intentional action.

Founder of Women on the Grow, Inc. 501c3, a heart-led outreach uplifting women through life's hardest seasons.

Jewel is a thought leader, changemaker, and also an Emmy Award-winning co-producer of a documentary on racism in Norway, a wife, mother, grandmother, grief survivor, and a seasoned woman who has lived enough life to teach from more than theory.

Over the years, Jewel has evolved into a trusted advocate and voice for seasoned melanated women ready to grow from performing strength while privately grieving, overgiving, healing, aging, rebuilding, and trying to find their way back to themselves.

Her style is warm, honest, practical, sisterly, and safe. She does not come across as intimidating, overly polished, too clinical, or spiritually heavy-handed. She creates space for women to exhale, tell the truth, laugh, cry, reflect, and leave with tools they can actually use.

Jewel speaks to the deeper emotional pain women often carry beneath the polished mask. She brings life, loss, marriage, motherhood, faith, grief, purpose, music, humor, emotional maturity, and hard-earned wisdom into the room.

Her work is accessible, heart-centered, and grounded in real life, especially for the countless women who have enjoyed her signature events...The Annual Malibu reTREATS and her Sunday Flow Experience.  Jewel is not trying to impress women. She is helping them breathe, heal, rise, and remember their worth.

Her invitation is simple:

"Come sit with me. Exhale. Let’s grow together."
