Thank you so much Trudy Coleman and the California legislature for my awards for acknowledging my years of community service this week at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, CA for Trudy Coleman's 24th Annual Dr Martin Luther King, Jr Unity

Breakfast. Thank you Women on the Grow 501c3 sister $owers and partners. I share these awards with you. Because of your giving, prayers, compassion and love...the work has been acknowledged today and will continue to be a positive outreach resource in our community. - Jewel Diamond Taylor, Founder of Women on the Grow, Inc 501c3, www.WomenOnTheGrow.org

The California fires, relentless news of violence, political injustice, and the personal loss of loved ones are not just distant events—they are lived realities that deeply impact our communities. These events carry a heavy emotional weight, triggering anxiety, stress, and even trauma that ripple through our minds, bodies, and spirits.

Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories; it embeds itself in our physical bodies, affecting our health, energy, and overall well-being. Chronic stress from witnessing injustice, grieving loss, and feeling helpless in the face of natural disasters can lead to anxiety, depression, and physical ailments like heart disease, high blood pressure, and chronic fatigue. Many of us are carrying burdens we don’t even realize are there, and it shows up in how we respond to life, how we treat ourselves, and how we connect with others.

This is why I am deeply committed to teaching and advocating for mental and emotional wellness. Our communities need healing. We need spaces where we can unpack these layers of pain, find tools to cope, and rediscover our resilience. We need to learn how to hold onto hope even when the world feels overwhelming.

Through my work, I aim to create these spaces—safe places to process, heal, and grow. Whether it’s through coaching, speaking, or leading workshops, my mission is to empower individuals to:

  • Recognize and release the trauma they’re holding onto.

  • Develop emotional wellness to navigate life’s contrasts and unpredictability.

  • Build resiliency and the inner strength to move forward despite life’s storms.

  • Find peace, clarity, and purpose in the midst of chaos.

You are not alone in this. These feelings, these struggles —they are shared by so many, and yet they are also the reason we must lean into healing. I am very grateful to my 5 new life coaching clients for taking the bold step to prioritize their personal growth and development. Supporting you on your journey is an honor, and I’m excited to see the breakthroughs and successes ahead for each of you.

Life coaching is a transformative investment in yourself, offering clarity, confidence, and a path to achieving your goals. It’s a smart decision because it provides personalized guidance, accountability, and proven strategies to help you move forward. Life coaching helps you break free from limiting beliefs, prioritize self-care, and develop resilience, empowering you to thrive in all areas of life.

Every person deserves the chance to live a life of peace, joy, and balance, no matter what they’ve endured.

If you’re feeling the weight of these times, know that there is a path forward. Together, we can break through fear, stress, and pain to find wholeness and joy again. Healing is not only possible; it is your right. Let’s take that step together. Stay in the light.
