There were times in my life when I was on my knees, not just in prayer, but in pain. I was scared, money stressed, grieving, worried, overwhelmed, and begging God for a breakthrough. I kept asking, "Lord, when will things change?" I used to think faith meant waiting.
Waiting for God to fix it…
Waiting for the fear to pass…
Waiting for the pain to stop…
Waiting for a breakthrough while silently breaking inside.
But what I finally realized was this: God wasn’t waiting on me to cry harder. God was waiting on me to move. My faith had to grow legs. I had to stop praying with just my hands and start praying with my feet. I had to put my boots on the ground. I had to get up from that dark pit of fear, lack, and wishful thinking... and walk toward the life I was asking for.
That’s when everything started to shift. My journey taught me that faith is not just what you believe. Faith is a verb. It’s what you do in the dark. It’s how you move when nothing makes sense. It’s how you rise, even with trembling hands and a tired heart.
I had to stop begging God to change things while I stayed stuck. I had to get up from the pit of lack, fear, and silent suffering and take action like I believed my breakthrough was already in motion.
That shift didn’t happen overnight, but it changed everything. And now, I’m here to help you make that shift to guide you from wishing to walking… from hoping to healing. You don’t need to stay where life knocked you down. Your faith was never meant to keep you waiting. It was meant to get you moving.
You can’t pray for rain and not bring an umbrella. You can’t ask for a healthy relationship while still entertaining toxic patterns or living in isolation. You can’t pray for success and then procrastinate every divine idea God downloads into your spirit.
I don't believe God will pour into a life that’s full of excuses, clutter, bitterness, and bad habits. Winning requires your faith to be activated not passive. Faith is a verb.
When you really believe, you start doing the work. You clean out closets. You shift your circle. You show up on time. You stop talking about “one day” and start moving like it’s already done. God will meet you at your level of preparation. Not your level of whining.
I’m truly grateful for your continued support and connection each week through my WINsday Inspiration. If you feel led to show appreciation in any amount, thank you in advance for using the options below. Your generosity and comments mean so much.
