Your growth is showing… even if nobody clapped for you. Some of your growth is quiet..a micro shift. Remember how you didn’t react the same way? How you paused instead of popped off when others didn't show you respect, love, or consideration. How you walked away instead of explaining yourself for the 10th time. How you stopped expecting from people who are determined to misunderstand, resist, and listen to you. How you stopped the manipulation, drama, and chaos. And how you remained focused in your faith even in the midst of a sudden crisis. That’s growth.
I bet sometimes you don’t even know how to feel about it. I can see you sitting there like, “Wait… am I healing or am I just tired?” Do I need a congratulations card… or a sympathy card and a nap?" Both can be true. Joy and grief...gratitude and disappointment ...faith and uncertainty...all can exist at the same time.
You stopped asking “Do they like me?” and started asking “Do I like this?”
Drama does not impress you. Excuses don’t move you.
Growth can feel like loss. Loss of old habits. Old reactions. Old versions of you that knew how to survive… but not how to be at peace. Your alone time is not rejection. it’s restoration.
So don’t wait for applause. Don’t wait for validation. Some of your biggest breakthroughs are invisible to other people… but they matter. You’re evolving, even when it feels awkward or lonely. Even when you’re laughing through it like, “Lord… who is this new version of me?”
Stay with her. She’s better for you. You didn’t come this far to act like you didn’t grow. Keep going. Keep growing... keep blooming. I SEE you. - Jewel Diamond Taylor
