Today's WINsday Inspiration

Have you ever noticed that you can sincerely want peace, change, or confidence, yet still find yourself slipping back into old thoughts and habits? Most of us do. The words we repeat may have more influence on our daily lives than we realize. That is where spiritual farming comes in. I want to show you a simple way to notice what you may be planting every day. I often teach about spiritual farming because your words, beliefs, faith, prayers, habits, and deeds are seeds. What you keep planting and watering can shape what grows in your life. The Bible speaks the language of farming again and again...seeds, sowing, reaping, harvest, vines, fruits of the Spirit.

That is why the picture of a spiritual farmer makes sense to me. What you keep planting and watering is your sowing. What eventually grows in your life becomes part of your reaping.

And just like a farmer, you cannot spend your whole life waiting for perfect conditions.

Take a minute and listen to the words you repeat. Your words do not control everything. But they do shape your thoughts, your faith, and your choices.

Think like a farmer. A farmer waters the seed, tends the soil, removes the weeds, and gives growth time. Your words are seeds. Your habits are water. Your life is the field.

Ask yourself:

What have I been planting lately?

⚪︎ “You cannot plant fear all week and expect peace to show up on Sunday.”

⚪︎ “Some prayers need watering with action.”

⚪︎ “Some weeds have been in your family for generations. You can still pull them.”

⚪︎ “Not everything growing in your life belongs in your garden.”

⚪︎ “You may not need another breakthrough. You may need better farming habits.”

⚪︎ “Stop digging up the seed asking, ‘Is it working yet?’ Give it time.”

Try this today.

Notice one sentence you keep repeating about yourself, your money, your health, your relationships, or your future.

Ask:

Do I want to keep planting this?

If not, change the sentence. Start speaking and acting in a way that supports where you are trying to go.

If this message stirred something in you, my e-booklet Being a Spiritual Farmer goes deeper into the words, habits, beliefs, and patterns we keep planting.

It is short, practical, and easy to apply.
