"Believe me I know about experiencing challenges, distractions, annoyances, setbacks, and family drama that can take one off their game, purpose, and peace. Unchecked emotions can hijack your peace, strength, faith, and ability to run your race. The Song of Solomon 2:15, states, "Catch the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom." The little foxes can symbolize negative thoughts, beliefs, or behaviors that can undermine your harvest of abundance, personal growth, spirituality, or the development of virtues and emotional mastery. They can represent the small, subtle temptations, distractions, or vices that can lead one astray from the path of right action or personal transformation.

I encourage you to not let unfortunate circumstances and seasons harden your heart. Be flexible. Be teachable. Be open to; giving, forgiving, serving, showing up, loving, receiving, recovering, growing, letting go, and flowing instead of resisting the realities you must adapt to. Self-motivation is not a constant state, and it requires consistent effort and self-discipline. When faced with challenges or failures, analyze what went wrong and seek lessons from the experience. Use setbacks as fuel to improve and adjust your approach. Become aware of the negative self-talk and constant noise in your mind. Winners train their brains to overcome defeating habits, actions, and thoughts. It takes practice, but you can train your brain...just like you change the channel on the TV if you don't like a program... you can learn to turn the channel in your mind to stop habitual overthinking, fear, anxiety, grudges, anger, and toxic thinking." - The Self-esteem Dr. Jewel Diamond Taylor
